Weihnachten und Neujahr werden wir irgendwo in Neuseeland verbringen und am 12. Januar 2007 geht es dann von Auckland weiter nach Sydney. Southern Scenic Route (Part 1) (08.12.2006) Vom Fjordland aus war der Suedzipfel der naechste Punkt, den es zu erreichen galt. Das war ein harter Test fuers Autoeli, denn es windet da unten manchmal ganz schoen. (siehe Baumbild...) Mehr... Southern Scenic Route (Part 1) E (08.12.2006) From the Fjordlands we headed to the most southern part of the South Island. This was quite a test for our car. There is always a strong wind blowing... (see picture of the windswept tree) Mehr... Milford Sound (07.12.2006) Der Milford Sound ist die Hauptattraktion des Fjordland National Parkes und zieht Touristen an wie ein Kuhfladen die Fliegen. Wir waren also quasi Fliegen und besichtigen ebenfalls den Kuhfladen. Allerdings hoert sich dies nun etwas negativ an - war es aber ueberhaupt nicht. Der Ausflug in diesen Park war jeden Kilometer Strasse mehr als wert! Mehr... Milford Sound (E) (07.12.2006) Milford Sound is the main attraction in the Fjordlands National Park. It attracts tourists like flies. We acted as flies as well and flew (bssss) to Milford Sound. It was one of the best parts of NZ so far! Mehr... 1. Queenstown & Glenorchy (03.12.2006) Wir entflohen der Touristenflut von Queenstown (wo man gewesen sein muss, wie es scheint...) und fuhren nach Isengart. Glenorchy, das kleine Oertchen am Ende des Lake Wakatipu, liegt mitten in den Misty Mountains aus den Filmen und hat vor allem kaum Touristen, was allerdings weniger verstaendlich ist. Mehr... Queenstown & Glenorchy (E) (03.12.2006) We tried to escape the flood of other tourists (it seems that you must have been in Queenstown) and drove to Isengart. Glenorchy is a small village at the end of the lake Wakatipu in the middle of the Misty Mountains from the films. Most important to us: there are hardly any tourists, not really understandable. Mehr... Westcoast (30.11.2006) Sobald man in touristische Gegenden kommt hat es nebst vielen Leuten auch sofort brauchbarere Internetcafes. Wir sitzen momentan auf einem Zweiersofa vor einem brandneuen Compi in Queenstown, der Stadt der Extremsportarten. Davon haben wir schon einen Blick voll genossen, aber extrem finden wir vor allem das Wetter und den Schnee, den wir eigentlich im Sommer nicht unbedingt haetten antreffen wollen... Mehr... Westcoast (E) (30.11.2006) As soon as we got in more touristic parts of NZ, we found besides the many people also internetcafes in a astonishing quality. We are sitting right now on a double sofa in front of a brandnew computer in Queenstown. It's the town of the extreme sports like bungee jumping or skydiving. The only really extreme thing for us so far is the weather and the snow, something we really didn't want to have in summer. Mehr... Bilderlos (27.11.2006) Hatten wir das nicht schon mal? Alaska war kein guter Ort fuer Berichte, denn Bilder konnte man selten bis nie hochladen. Hier sind wir mit dem selben Problem konfrontiert. Es ist sogar noch uebler...
